Map showing the Mexican and American infantry, Cavalry and Artillery positions at Buena Vista, near Monterrey, Mexico. Although heavily outnumbered, General Zachary Taylor’s troops managed to push back the Mexicans led by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. Map condition: Light spotting otherwise generally very good. Map type: Copper engraved map
