Published in Nurenburg, c. 1743.  A highly detailed and decorative map of Europe by Johann Matthias Haas and published by Homann Heirs. A large and elaborate cartouche upper left. The “stereographic projection” shows Europe depicted on a plane, rather than spherical, thus distorting distances.
