Description

Published in “Nieuwe en Beknopte Hand-Atlas”. Amsterdam, c. 1761.  A lovely detailed map of the island of Malta including Gozo and Comino. The map is oriented towards the  South West and shows a compass rose. Ports, towns and topographical details are shown as well as roads and fortifications.

Map Condition: Short tear to upper right margin, a very good clean copy. .  Map Type: Copperplate engraving with full hand colouring
