“North America From the Best Authorities”. A detailed map of North America from Alaska extending southwards to Nicaragua in Central America. The Rocky Mountains are named as the Stoney Mountains. Much of the interior and western America is left blank. MacKenzie’s discoveries of 1769 are noted. From Blomfield’s “A General View of the World…” published by C. Brightly & E. Kinnersley. Map Condition: Light creasing to upper left, lower margin trimmed else very good. Map Type: Copper engraved map with old hand colouring.
