Description

Published in Thomas Moule’s “English Counties” London, 1837. A detailed map of the area surrounds Portsmouth Harbour in Hampshire. Portsmouth and Langston Harbour is shown as well as the southern coast of the Isle of Wight. Towns, cities, topographical features and railway lines are indicated. Portsmouth was an important harbour both as a commercial area and for the Royal Navy.

Map Condition: A few light spots and minor chips to margins but generally very good.  Map Type: Steel engraved map with hand colouring
